At the time, Lewinsky was just 22 years old. Instead of becoming the start of a promising career, the scandal dramatically altered the course of her life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cMy very first job out of college was working in the White House,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI don\u2019t think that\u2019s the kind of trajectory that someone thinks then 10, 12 years later, that person\u2019s not going to be able to get hired.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to Lewinsky, the public narrative surrounding her was shaped in ways that were both damaging and difficult to escape. She was frequently labeled with derogatory terms and reduced to stereotypes that followed her for years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI wasn\u2019t a dumb bimbo.
